Watching a Dream Grow

I've always been passionate about local food, small businesses, and gourmet products. After moving back to Oklahoma, I discovered my longtime friend Julie was making some of the best pepper jams and preserves I'd ever tasted. Believing in both her and the products, I jumped in to help with branding and marketing. Today, I love watching Red Dirt Kitchen grow while staying true to its roots. I'd love to see Julie become a household name, build a lasting legacy for her family, and inspire others to chase their dreams.

Finding My Way Home

I'm passionate about spending time with the people I love. After living away from Oklahoma for nearly 20 years and calling some truly beautiful places home, I realized that home isn't just a place, it's the people who know you, support you, and make you feel like you belong. That's what brought me back. I love traveling near and far, discovering new brunch spots with friends, entertaining, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Whether I'm exploring a new destination or enjoying a local adventure, it's the memories made with the people around me that matter most.

Following My Curiosity

When I was little, I dreamed of being a journalist who traveled the world, visited exotic places, and reported on breaking news. I also loved to sing, although I was far too shy to pursue it. Looking back, those dreams still show up in who I am today. I love sharing useful information, exploring new places, and connecting with people through storytelling. I've always had a bit of a performer in me too. I spent many years as a ballroom dancer and instructor, combining my love of teaching with the joy of helping others grow and gain confidence. Whether through writing, marketing, or mentoring, I've always been drawn to learning, sharing, and inspiring transformation.
